Running is not all about weight loss.
When I first started running I did it to lose weight; I think it was about 2 to 3 stone I lost which was so amazing, but as you keep running you start to lose less per week. I started to benefit from it in a different way, and that was mentality. It helps you cope with stress and anxiety, but after a long stressful day at work going for run is hard. If you do go out then it feels great that you made yourself do it. This is because all of them stressful hormones from the day will be reduced. I know it sounds funny the idea that you run for your mental health. As you first started this journey to lose weight, but soon enough you’re not to bothered by a couple of extra pounds. Just the great effects you get from going on a run.
Over time you will see it having a positive impact and it will help you in so many ways. So, if you don’t lose weight one week don’t beat yourself up about it just think you’re still achieving something in a different way.
